Energy Auditor Certification Is Being Gained By Many

There are various types of energy auditor certification. The only two that are globally identified and recognized are BPI certification and RESNET HERS rater. To become a HERS rater, one must complete a 50 question, 2 hour exam with a final score of at least 80%. To become a BPI professional, one must complete a 100 question, 2-hour exam with a final score of at least 70% out of 100%. Gaining energy auditor certification has proven advantageous for many people as they add new notches to their belt i.e. new qualifications to their repertoire.
It is fairly simple to gain energy auditor certification and the job opportunities rise dramatically after the exam has been taken. Auditors often charge a lot of money for an inspection and this money is collected by the auditor him/herself.
